Work with me
I help nature lovers and leaders unwind and restore their relationship with nature and creativity — so they can continue their vital work.
My support is grounded in interdisciplinary research and draws on the power of observation, nature connection and creativity, to regulate mood, restore hope and strengthen resilience.
Workshops
I lead workshops rooted in Green Sketching. Some are focused, self-contained introductions; others are designed to explore broader themes of creative resilience — how we sustain care, attention, and creativity over time.
Sessions can take place indoors or outdoors, in workplaces or at conferences.
The work draws on experience across academia, NGOs, education, industry, and international organisations.
If it sounds useful, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Mentoring
Alongside my workshops, I also work one-to-one with highly sensitive kindred spirits who want to reconnect with their creativity — often after burnout, illness, a career change, or another period of transition.
My approach is grounded in empathy, encouragement, and curiosity. I have a lively mind and love helping people connect the dots and see new possibilities. Mentoring can support practical creative practice, or provide space for wider reflection and thinking about your work and direction.
Whether you want a one-off mini-mentoring session or ongoing support, my aim is to restore your sense of hope and possibility and strengthen your capacity to keep doing the work you care about.

‘I organised a staff event for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust colleagues. Our day with Ali was full of kindnesses and joy. Ali's delivery style is friendly and she easily built rapport with our different personalities. We learned more about ourselves and about one another; it was a brilliant team building opportunity, as well as a chance to simply exist in each other's company, silently or with gentle conversation. The day was hugely successful, and I'd book another workshop in a heartbeat.’

Creative Practice & Research
I’m also a freelance illustrator and artist, delivering guided green sketching resources, project illustrations, and licensing collaborations. Alongside this, I’m currently researching my next book — an exciting project closely aligned with my workshops, mentoring, and creative practice.
